This sequel to “Coastal Degradation Through Fresh Eyes” shows our original protagonists Amka and Suka feeling powerless and unmotivated. This story focuses more on an issue with environmentalism, rather than an environmental issue.
Amka and Suka meet Bay, a cute new friend who introduces them to the issue of melting glaciers, and revitalizes them to get back on track with their environmental mission. The trio will have to support each other to never forget why they’re working hard: positive change takes time, but it’s always worth fighting for.
The use of young storybook characters and simple animation makes this short film a good introduction to environmentalism — along with some of the problems that can come from not seeing change even when you’re trying your best.
