Climate change will affect all of us, but agriculture is an area where it will hit our lifestyle hard. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's 2012 report, Climate Change and Agriculture in the United States: Effects and Adaptation, points to effects that already are underway and will continue to worsen just as our planet needs to feed increasingly more people. High temperatures, a changing water situation, extreme weather and increased carbon dioxide all will impact how we grow food, how nutritious it can be and if we'll be able to feed the planet.
