Monitoring Water Environment with Robotic Fish

Small, inexpensive robotic fish, equipped with sensors, form mobile sensor networks in water, allowing them to monitor water quality and other environmental processes (harmful algal blooms, oil plumes, other pollutants) in a dynamic manner. Data collected are wirelessly transmitted back to computers or smart phones for information display and decision- making.
