Jamie Hestekin and a team of students and scientists at the University of Arkansas seek to develop a sustainable biofuel using algae. The team’s goal over the next year is to design and build a 10-100 gallon/year farm scale unit for producing butanol, cleaning up water, and providing fertilizer supplements.
