Wildlife Filmmaker Chris Palmer Discusses Ethical Choices in Storytelling

PF_Storyfest_Badge_V4_03-15-16_ALsmall-03.pngChris Palmer, a grandfather of three, educates current and future generations about our responsibility to maintain biological diversity and reduce animal extinction. Palmer  works with naturalists and biologists to treat animals ethically, film green, and create awareness.

In respective circumstances, their team stages scenes to emphasize specific narratives; a killer whale skull placed along the ocean floor, wolves rented and dramatized production techniques. Yet all with the greater purpose of education and awareness; to preserve our wildlife so that future generations will grow up in a world where they can see humpback whales and grizzly bears.
